Resigned!

A little while ago I posed that I’ll be taking a 33% pay cut and today, shaking a little, I handed in my two weeks notice. I haven’t resigned my position many times in the past and I have to say that it’s a little unnerving. Two weeks from now I’ll be sleeping in and taking a week off to just relax before starting my new job.
This is the start of something completely new. I’m going to have to scramble to get all the necessary money for the wedding and making sure that all of my bills are paid on time. I like the idea of change and being forced to think and figure out what to do next. This is a good start, the new position will make me think more and challenge me.

Dont get too cumfy in between jobs, it will be a nightmare to get back into the groove. I’m sure you’ll find alot to keep you occupied.

Don’t worry I’m taking all of 4 days off between jobs, not long enough to get too comfy!

This is actually probably a good time to take a week off, after the holidays and all. I hated the 2 times I gave in my notice, but as long as you’re going to something that is in your opinion better, that’s all that matters.

I’m definitely going to a place that will make me far happier, I’m actually going to enjoy going to the office.
