Maye it's due to my being a Millennial, but nobody I know compares prices by getting inside their car and driving all over the city. You can save a lot of time and gas by just going online and making a few phone calls. ;) And as for saving the environment (and by extension the entire world! yay!) by driving less - er, there are some major flaws to that line of thinking as well (at least in my opinion), but that's a different story... There is a major flow in your logic: you don’t have to “drive around” in order to compare prices.
